“Sometime around 7:16 p.m., P.C. Kevin Ack, twenty-one years old, was driving his motorcycle en route to I.S.F., the Intermediate Southern Formation, where he is posted and they are saying that somewhere between mile thirty-five and thirty-six on the Southern Highway, he approached a bump and lost control of his cycle, fell to the ground, received serious head and body injuries. He was taken to the Independence Polyclinic and later to the Southern Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. We, initially I saw some posts on social media that was suggesting a hit and run, but when I received the formal report I sent it out clarifying to them that it was not a hit and run when in fact he lost control of his motorbike.”
