Shooting on Curassow Street Injures Parham Siblings
A shooting incident in Belize City on Monday has left thirty-year-old Joanna Parham hospitalized with gunshot wounds to her body. Parham, however, wasn’t the intended target of the armed assault on Curassow Street. Shortly after seven p.m. last evening, nineteen-year-old Anthony Parham was making his way on foot towards his home and upon reaching the intersections of Gibnut and Curassow streets, he was approached from behind by an unknown assailant who opened fire on him. Those rounds perforated a car and a pickup truck that were parked nearby and injured his older sibling. Anthony received abrasions to his left hand. The motive for the attack is being investigated by police.
