PUP Party Leader Says No Comment on Micah Goodin Fiasco

Prime Minister John Briceño has commented once again on the situation involving embattled Deputy Mayor Micah Goodin, who has been asked by his colleagues in the Belize City Council to demit office in that capacity by next week.  The motion followed a meeting at City Hall last Thursday during which Councilor Albert Vaughn tabled a resolution that was widely supported by fellow councilors.

“That is a decision for the city council.  They, in their wisdom, have decided that Micah should take kind of like a timeout, you know and step down as the Deputy Mayor for Belize City, so that‘s not for me to comment on.”
