And while Belizeans will get an opportunity to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in Belmopan, Dame Froyla Tzalam, the Governor General of Belize, is in London for a weekend of celebrations. She joins other Heads of State of the Commonwealth in celebrating the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after seventy years of service. Queen Elizabeth the Second’s reign has seen her travel more widely than any monarch. Dame Froyla Tzalam will be attending events in London from June second to June fifth. In her absence, Ambassador Stuart Leslie will hold over as Deputy Governor General.
