Meet the Delegates of the 2022 Miss Universe Belize Title
And finally tonight, there was a huge buzz on social media over the weekend as the Miss Universe Belize organization announced the seven new delegates. They are vying for the title and an opportunity to represent the country on the international stage at Miss Universe. On Tuesday, we will be talking with National Director Romeo Escobar for more on this year’s activities and this cohort of beauty ambassadors competing for the title, but if you haven’t here are their names and where they are from: nineteen-year-old sales clerk Kaira Nunez from Orange Walk; twenty-seven-year-old P.H.D. candidate Alina Scott from Cayo; twenty-seven-year-old tutor, Kenya Tejada of Spanish Lookout; twenty-two-year-old nurse, Sigourney Usher of San Ignacio; twenty-seven-year-old writer, Samantha Singh of Placencia; twenty-five-year-old project management officer and adjunct lecturer, Ashley Lightburn of Belize City, and twenty-year-old florist, Grace Brown of San Pedro.
