Taiwan gives $50,000 to Child Care Center
The Government Child Care Center has been renamed in honor of one of its governors. According to the Minister of Human Development, Women and Youth, Dolores Balderamos Garcia the center will now be known as the Dorothy Menzies Child Care Center. Dorothy Menzies has been involved with the center since the 1990 and is currently serving as the chairperson of the Board of Governors for the center. The Ministry also announced that Su Hsen Siew Chu, wife of the Taiwanese Prime Minister made a donation to the center of fifty thousand dollars. The ministry says the contribution will go a long way towards improving the facility and programs of the Child Care Center.
