But while the language for this initiative might be a bit technical for business people that are not trained in that field, Almendarez says once the investment environment is created, it will benefit people in any sized business.

“Let’s take tourism, an investment in tourism – if it’s building a hotel or any entity within that space, it creates value added, creating employment so you find out that new services are created. So there will be employment opportunities and business – entrepreneurial opportunities for operators for those, whatever they might do. We had hairbraiding and all of those within the tourism industry. Take the Blue Economy and Civil Aviation, any one of these ministries that you can think of, it will actually allow for entrepreneurial and employment opportunities.”
