If that is not enough Courts Belize Limited news, this morning the Belize Red Cross was also at Courts to collect two checks which will assist the victims that suffered from the wrath of Hurricane Mitch. Sherlette Lopez says that because of the great concern for victims in Central America employees and management decided to do something that would be beneficial to those affected most.

“Actually, what happened is that we decided in November to do a promotion whereby from each sale we made two dollars went towards the Red Cross Fund. Also, I was overwhelmed by the support shown by the staff when they heard about the devastation of Mitch. They came to me to ask how are we going to help these victims. So we also have another check that is money from the staff that we are presenting to the Red Cross on behalf of these victims as well. So it is actually two checks, one that was the promotion and one from the staff themselves.”

The staff from Courts raised six hundred and thirty-five dollars bringing total donation to the Red Cross to six thousand one hundred and eighty-seven dollars. The presentation was made this morning at the Courts Belize City branch.
