San Joaquin money changer robbed

A money changer of San Joaquin Village in the Corozal District was robbed this morning by four men. John Teul reported that around 6:54 he was held up at gunpoint by masked men dressed in full black. Even though Teul handed over two thousand dollars, the robbers reportedly fired shots at him but missed. The men then fled the scene in a white van with taxi license plates. Police in Corozal say that the vehicle involved was found abandoned and they continue to investigate.
