Benque Resident Busted with Twelve Grams of Cocaine
Twenty-two-year-old Frederick Rodriguez, a resident of Riverside Street, Benque Viejo Town has been arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply. That’s after he was busted during a special operation being conducted by police along the banks of the Mopan River from the San Jose Succotz Ferry to Benque Viejo Town. As a result, the officers executed a search warrant at the home of Rodriquez, where nothing incriminating was discovered. He was then escorted to an area where he was seen placing an object. A search yielded a clear bottle containing eighteen small transparent tubes with suspected cocaine amounting to twelve grams.
