P.U.P. Administration’s Grocery Bag Program, “Alive and Kicking”
Elvia Vega, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Human Development say the Briceño Administration’s Grocery Bag Program is alive and kicking. Reporters caught up with Minister Vega at an event in San Ignacio today where she was asked for an update on the program, as consumers nationwide battle with the inflated cost of goods. According to Minister Vega, her ministry has an open door policy. She says that anyone in need of this form of support can visit her ministry for assistance.

“The grocery bags, the program is alive and kicking and people are getting help. In other areas as well, so when you tell me the grocery bag has been done with, it is not so. We are still providing grocery bags.”

“So, how can people that need it apply? There are a lot of single mothers out there that need it. How can they be a part of this program?”

“The Ministry has an open door policy. They can come in and we can look at it. We are here to help. We are here to assist our people ok.”
“You have any information how many people are receiving it right now?”

“On hand right now, I don’t. If it tell you yes, I would be lying to you.”
