Two Belizean artists hold show at Belize/Mexico Institute

Story Picture
Two Belizean artists are being featured in an exhibition at the Institute of Cooperation and Culture Mexico-Belize beginning tomorrow. Yasser Musa, director of the Image Factory Art Foundation and art teacher at S.J.C. is teaming up with Michael Gordon a self-taught artist who has produced over two thousand art works in the past three years. Director of the institute Paz Cervantes says they are particularly pleased to feature Gordon’s work which she describes as truly amazing. Cervantes says some of his paintings have been sent to a contemporary art museum in Mexico after a visit by the curator who viewed Gordon’s works on cardboard on the streets of Belize City. The show will be open for viewing until the twenty-first of December at the institute on Wilson Street.
