There was also a hit and run accident in Corozal over the weekend and police are investigating the incident to determine who is the motorist that injured an unnamed man. On Monday, A.S.P. Alfonso Aban of the Crimes Investigation Branch shared limited information with the media.

“On Saturday, the sixth of August, 2022, at ten p.m., police were called to a road traffic accident on 5th Street where they saw a male person who has not been identified as yet with various injuries to his body. He was transported to the Northern Regional Hospital where he is admitted at this time.”
