Truck Loaded with Office Appliances Overturns on George Price Highway
Three persons escaped major injuries when the truck they were traveling in this afternoon careened off the George Price Highway and overturned in a swampy area near mile forty-one. It happened at midday, just as the truck filled with office appliances was on its way to Belmopan. A News Five team was travelling behind the vehicle and witnessed the incident. We spoke with the driver, thirty-seven-year-old Sheldon Craig who explained how he managed to control the vehicle after it slipped off the wet pavement after a downpour.
