Condolencies offered to Julian Cho’s family

The Prime Minister Said Musa has extended his condolences to the family of Julian Cho, the Chairman of the Toledo Maya Cultural Council who died at his home in Punta Gorda. The Prime Minister’s office says the community activist contributed significantly to the nation by bringing awareness of the needs of the Maya in Southern Belize. SPEAR also expressed its sympathy through a press release today saying they share their solidarity with Julian’s immediate family and his extended family at the Toledo Maya Cultural Council.
Cho’s body was found at the base of a two-storey staircase early Tuesday morning. The results of an autopsy today have yet to be released.
