Mark Stuart charged with brutal prison death
Mark Stuart, the man accused of killing his Hattieville Prison cellmate, was today formally charged with murder. Police have apparently cut a deal with the two other residents of cell forty-one, Albert Broaster and Leroy Flowers, in which they will testify that Stuart stabbed Osmani Guerra to death last Tuesday night. In return for their testimony it is believed that Broaster and Flowers will not be prosecuted for any role they have played in the crime. They will also be moved to a less dangerous part of the prison in an effort to protect them from any possible retribution by friends of Mark Stuart. In related news Osmani Guerra’s mother, Patricia Wade, today visited News Five to complain that she has never been officially notified of her son’s death by prison authorities. “The way I found out about it,” said Wade, “was when I heard the news on the radio.”
