Same Long Distance Arrangement for Micah and Kaya

According to Mayor Wagner, the request by Councilor Goodin to participate virtually in council meetings was not far-fetched.  In fact, it is a similar arrangement to what has been approved for Councilor Kaya Cattouse who rides professionally as a cyclist in the United States.

“We neva sih di request by the councilor as being overly exhaustive.  We have seen it work many times during COVID.  Sometimes, Councilor Cattouse she travels back and forth to the United States as a professional cyclist and so she participates most of the times in our caucus through virtual means.  So that is where we sit with it, we support it and we never want to look at a situation where we are impediments to the acquisition of knowledge and furthering of education.  And so, we said that we can work on it for this short term and for this six months until the councilor can officially request that leave after the six months have expired.”
