Highlights from Day 1 of Mas Camp 2022
The highly anticipated return of the Carnival Road March is four days away and band leaders are preparing their final costumes for the bacchanal. A total of nine bands will be participating in the road march this year – four seniors and five junior bands – all from Belize City. But even before the revellers take to the streets of the Old Capital in their colorful and innovative costumes, their band leaders must survive the judging of the mas camps, which adds to the final score to determine the road march champions.
