Allen Martinez Found Dead After Disappearing for Ten Days

The lifeless body of thirty-five-year-old Allen Martinez was discovered about one mile into the John Smith Airport Link road this morning.  Martinez was reported missing by his relatives on Saturday, September third. Since then, family members have been searching for him. Last week, a team of Belize Defense Force Officers and his relatives, spent four days searching along the John Smith Airport Link Road. So, today’s discovery came as a surprise to those who were among the search party, because the area where Martinez’s body was found had been canvassed in previous days. His body was in an advanced state of decomposition and there were no visible signs of injuries observed today. A post mortem will be conducted.  The family declined comment at the scene.
