Elderly Man Loses Life in Placencia RTA

An elderly man died on Sunday morning in a road traffic accident along the Placencia Road. Seventy- six-year-old Amado Galindo was riding his motorcycle when he collided into an SUV. Unfortunately, Galindo lost his life after being flung off his bike.

“Police responded to an accident scene between mile six and seven on the Placencia road where they observed a grey Mazda Tribute driven a t the time by Estouardo Samoyo, thirty nine years. Also seen in front of the tribute, not too far from it, was the body of Amado Vega Galindo, seventy six year and a motorcycle. The information so far is that Galindo was driving his motor bike when he made an attempt to overtake the tribute and was not in a clear path where the tribute may have clipped his motor bike and he ended up suffering from head and body injuries and he died on the spot. He was transported to the Placencia Polyclinic where he was pronounced dead.”
