“The investigators so far gathered that there was a party being held on the eleventh of September while sometime around one o’clock a.m. persons called for the police because they heard shots fired. Mr. Alston McLaughin Sr. then relayed to investigators that they were celebrating his wife’s birthday party. He and his wife walked out the yard unto the street and he was followed by his son Alston Jr. who was hurling a lot of phrase at him. Alston Jr. aggressed him. He said that he took out his license fire arm and fired one shot to the ground to warn Alston. That did not stop him and Alston Jr. then attacked him physically. He then called for the police and police has both Alston Jr. and Sr. detained at this time, pending charges.”
