A.P. Rowland dies from illness
Assistant Commissioner of Police Alvan Rowland died this morning at the Karl Heusner Memorial after a short illness. Rowland devoted the greater part of his life to law enforcement entering the police force in 1965 and rising through the ranks to become the Commanding Officer for Eastern Division in Belize City and Assistant Commissioner three years ago. The Ministry of National Security and the Belize Police Force extend their condolences to A.P. Rowland’s family. The funeral will be held on Sunday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cathedral in Belmopan.
