“San Ignacio has always been known to be that safe haven. And a murder on Wednesday and one on Saturday night, it is definitely heartbreaking, it is frightening. I hope that whatever may have happened – I know that it is two separate murders – but to think about it, it has really had people of this community thinking and thinking overtime what has been going wrong. So I am really calling on our residents. Of course, I know the police department has been overwhelmed with a lot of work, they cannot eradicate crime, they have been trying their best. But certainly, I believe that the businesses that have surveillance cameras should be a part in helping police to find evidence that can bring these people to justice.”
