Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation in Montreal for 41st ICAO Assembly
The Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation is attending the forty-first Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal, Canada. The International Civil Aviation Organization sets the standards and regulations necessary for aviation safety, security and facilitation, efficiency, and economic development of air transport. The event is being held from September twenty-seventh to October seventh. Representatives from the organization’s one hundred and ninety-three member states will gather to forge policy for the next three years. A release from the Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation notes that representatives from Belize are looking forward to promoting policy regarding unruly passengers aboard aircraft, cyber security, gender equality, economic development, and environmental protection. Minister Andre Perez will be joined by C.E.O, Kennedy Carrillo, along with other representatives from the ministry.
