Alleged Burglar Arrested and Charged for San Pedro Break-in
Twenty-four-year-old Erson Castaneda, a fisherman of Boca del Rio, San Pedro, has been arrested and charged for burglary after reportedly breaking into a business in San Pedrito on Monday night. According to forty-eight-year-old Mayna Liseth Simal, she secured her establishment at around five p.m. on September twenty-sixth and went home. When she returned around nine a.m. on Tuesday, the businesswoman discovered that the back window of the shop was opened. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that an array of men’s boots, men’s and women’s clothing, as well as perfumes and deodorants had been stolen. Altogether, the items are valued at approximately thirteen thousand, five hundred dollars. While investigators have recovered several of the items, an investigation is ongoing.
