Jarett Crawford Murdered Inside His Yard in Antelope Street Extension Area

Another man was shot dead shortly before four-thirty this evening in Belize City. He is thirty-six-year-old Jarett Crawford. Crawford was apparently inside his house when someone ambushed him and shot him. Scenes of Crime personnel are processing the scene. This evening, a tearful Shackeria Torres told reporters that the family was trying to call her deceased cousin today, but got no answer.

“One ah our close family friend called and said her daughter just come over and seh that dehn just kill our cousin, ih di lay down eena the yard soh we just race over but we mi di try reach ah all day and we couldn’t get a hold of ah but after talking to one ah our aunt, she seh she just see ah this evening and ih mi fih goh da shop fi she. Soh she di seh ih can’t be he. And when we come, da he. We couldn’t get wa hold of ah all day soh when we come over ya and I gone look, da he fi true.”
