Weed plantation burned, farmers get away
Another search for drugs, this time in the Orange Walk District, has netted authorities a much bigger haul of weed… but nothing in the way of suspects. On Monday morning police raided a plantation four miles southwest of San Felipe Village where they discovered two thousand, five hundred cannabis plants over six feet tall. All the weed was burned while the absentee farmers no doubt watched from afar as their fortune went up in smoke.
