Central Farm Resident Busted with Stolen Motorcycle

On Saturday night, sometime around eleven p.m., police responded to an area along the Branch Mouth Road in Cayo District where they observed thirty-four-year-old Roquelino Ortega suffering from an apparent gunshot injury to the body. Ortega was reportedly traveling on his motorcycle from Santa Familia to San Ignacio. Upon arriving at the hammock bridge, the security guard was accosted by three men. Ortega was shot once and the Honda motorcycle he was riding was also stolen. In an update to that story, twenty-six-year-old Jaleel Burns, a security guard of Central Farm, Cayo District, has been arrested and charged for handling stolen goods.  The charge follows the discovery of a red and white Honda motorcycle belonging to Roquelino Ortega.
