Three cash in on Lotto

The long holiday weekend marked seventeen years of independence… but there were several Belizeans who had special reason to celebrate. Saturday’s Lotto draw produced, not one, but three winners. Manager of Tropical Gaming Carol Young explains.

“We wind up with three winners, this time because the main jackpot was won by two winners and then we had a bonus of two thousand five to celebrate Independence Day. And we had a winner for that also. So this is the first time that we have had three winners for one draw.”

Q: “The bonus draws, is that the end of it?”

Carol Young

“Well, I would like to tell the customers, let’s wait and see what happens. I’d like to give them a surprise, so all I want to do is to continue looking, keep playing and you never know because I will just pop in bonuses as we go along. There’s so many things that we’d like to do, particularly bringing in more scratch games and getting more people involved. Our plan is to have more agents selling countrywide but we have our setbacks with doing that.”
