Minister Dolores Supports Penalty for Eruption Nightclub
As we have reported, the proprietors of Eruption Nightclub in Ladyville have been charged for admitting a seventeen-year-old inside the establishment. That female minor said that she was drinking and ended up unconsciousness, before she woke up the following morning and realised that she had been raped. A Ladyville resident has also been charged for that crime. The nightclub is located in the constituency of Dolores Balderamos-Garcia, who is also the Minister for Human Development. The sexual assault of the female minor has her up in arms. Minister Balderamos-Garcia says that there are too many issues there.
Dolores Balderamos-Garcia, Minister of Human Development
“There are too many issues there. If you cannot run a nightclub and make sure that under-aged people are not in there, then yon oh business fi have a license and that is my strong view. That is my strong view. Now that may not have fully protected the young lady who was violated, but it is contributing to the abusers when you allow under-aged people into a drinking facility – putting it that way. You have to card everybody and there has to be property security, proper fire exit. I think our, and I make this appeal to our nightclub owners and bars, restaurants, etc., make we do the things in the correct way man. We have to protect our communities, have yo fire exit, make sure you have your security, make sure you don’t allow in the under-aged. Those are the kinds of things that we can do to develop our country and to make sure that everybody is protected.”
