He said that there were no incriminating marks on the body, but that the police are still treating the matter as a criminal investigation.

“On Saturday, the fifth day of November, 2022, upon information received around 12:01 p.m., police visited mile forty on the Hummingbird Highway where upon arrival on a feeder road they discovered the decomposed body of a female. The body was photographed and processed and thereafter taken to the morgue, where it awaits a post mortem examination. A thorough investigation is being conducted into this find and we are following some leads at this time. No obvious signs of injuries. A post mortem will be conducted, which will determine the cause of death and we are awaiting for that.”

Sr. Superintendent Hilberto Romero
“We have information that we received and so we are following up on those leads that we have.”
