Carnival King and Queen chosen
Carnival fever may have been delayed due to election fever but the temperature is rising fast. On Saturday night thirteen juniors and four seniors competed for the respective titles of Carnival King and Queen at the National Stadium. News Five’s camera was there to record the pageantry.

The senior competition was marred by a downpour of rain and also a controversy which resulted in the withdrawal of entries by the senior band GEM.
