Mother and daughter wounded by mom’s ex

While police chase down a suspected murderer, they have moved quickly to apprehend another machete wielding spouse. According to police, thirty-six year old Abraham Daniels attacked his ex-common law wife, forty-nine year old Concepcion Myers at Myer’s home in Card’s Alley in Belize City. Myer’s twenty-three year old daughter Cecilia told police that she was also attacked when she and her mother tried to flee the house. Both women are hospitalized in stable condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial. Police say that they do not yet know the exact motive for the assault and are awaiting a chance to speak with the two victims. In the meantime, Daniels has been arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of the use of deadly means of harm and two counts of dangerous harm.
