Asst. Police Commissioner recovering from stroke
Police news usually involves crime, but not always. Word has been received that on August nineteenth Assistant Commissioner of Police, Alvan Rowland, suffered a stroke, which doctors have characterized as mild. According to Jesus Matute, the officer in charge of personnel and welfare, Roland is being treated in Merida and his condition is improving.
