Three Persons Detained For Broad Day-Light Attempted Robbery

Police have revealed the identities of the persons detained in connection with an attempted robbery at Lina Supermarket on Mahogany Street in Belize City. They are twenty-three-year-old Marquise Conorquie, twenty-three-year-old Nolbert Smith and twenty-four-year-old Kienan Castillo. Police say that when they responded to the report they apprehended the three men at the scene. Police also found a Glock-25 nine millimeter pistol with a magazine containing fifteen nine millimeter rounds of ammunition; one CZ  nine millimeter pistol with a magazine containing fourteen live rounds of ammunition, and a third firearm with a magazine that contained ten live rounds of ammunition.  All the detained individuals are in police custody as the investigations continues.
