Elections office lays down law for campaigners

While on the subject of political tactics we are taking the opportunity, at the behest of the Elections and Boundaries Commission, to inform all agents working for the various political parties and candidates that on election day absolutely no electronic communication device, bottles, glass containers or weapons of any type shall be allowed into the counting station, polling station or within the one hundred yards limit demarcated around each polling station. To make sure you get the message it is understood that the police will be out in force and will not hesitate to make arrests, regardless of your political affiliation.
