A Suspect is Charged for the Murder of PC Lorray Arzu

Police Constable Lorray Arzu lost her life following a deadly shooting incident in Dangriga on October twelfth.  The twenty-two-year-old woman was along with another individual identified as Leonel Rowland inside a Ford pickup truck when they came under gunfire.  During the attack, PC Arzu was struck by bullets in the head.  She succumbed to her injuries just two days later, while Rowland remained in critical condition at the K.H.M.H.  Earlier today, the Belize Police Department announced that a twenty-eight-year-old laborer of Gales Point Village had been arrested and charged for Arzu’s murder. He is Raheem O’Neal Vernon.
