Corpse found on farm, no arrests yet

Three days after the gruesome discovery of the body of Isias Franco, a farm hand at Polak’s Farm at mile fifty on the Hummingbird Highway, Belmopan police are still trying to find out who chopped the man to death. According to reports, about eighty thirty Monday morning, sixty five year old Elisandro Guzman, the farm’s supervisor and a co-worker were on their rounds, when they came upon Franco’s body. The corpse, which was clothed in only a long black pants and black boots, displayed several machete wounds to the head, face, chest, right hand and heel. At this time police say they have been interviewing a number of suspects, but so far have no one in custody.
