A twenty year old Roaring Creek man has been arrested and charged with rape. A twenty-two year old domestic reported to police that while she was asleep at her home in Roaring Creek Village early Monday morning, she was awakened by a masked intruder. The assailant placed a gun to her head and a knife to her throat, and forced her to have sexual intercourse. According to Belmopan police, the woman knew the man whom she identified as Derry Bennett, a local laborer. Bennett was taken into custody and charged.
