Woman hospitalized after boiling water attack
In crime news, a dispute between two co-workers has left one in the hospital and another behind bars. According to a police press release, at about four o’clock Monday morning, twenty-three year old Carmela Flores threw boiling water on the back of twenty-two year old Hazel Arana while they were both working at Dario’s Meat Pie Bakery on Hyde’s Lane. Arana was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and admitted in a serious condition. Although she still remains in the hospital her condition has now stabilized. Flores was arrested and charged with dangerous harm.
