Shyne Barrow, Party Leader, U.D.P.
“I was wholeheartedly behind this opportunity for redemption and it didn’t work out. [It was] not my fault, not anyone’s fault. The reality is the reality. We have now a situation where there is a designation by the United States Department [of State]. There is a criminal investigation by the Commissioner of Police. It is just too much for the party to continue to carry. We have carried it, I have carried it. I have done my best to masterfully re-image it, reposition it and I have to accept when the end of that road has come.”

Shyne Barrow
“We will have an NPC, I believe within the next seven days, and allow the matter to have its final stop at the NPC. But I am asking, I have asked him, I have pleaded with him to stand down. That was my appeal to him.”
