Man hospitalized after drive-by shooting
Another act of violence, this one without any political overtones, has also left a Belize City man in the hospital. Twenty- two year old Raymond Williams, a resident of Supal Street, told police that he was sitting in front of his house a few minutes before midnight on Tuesday night, when a white car drove by. One of the passengers then took out a gun and fired a shot which hit him on the left side of his cheek. Police are looking for the shooters.
