Quarrel ends in stabbing
Another man named Lamb is in the news tonight, not as a crime victim but as an alleged perpetrator. According to police reports seventeen year old Kirk Lamb was attending a wedding reception Sunday night at the Ex-Servicemen’s League in Belize City when he became involved in an argument with one Marlon Blades. The controversy escalated and Lamb stabbed Blades with a knife several times in the stomach. Blades underwent surgery at K.H.M.H. where he remains in serious but stable condition. Lamb, of thirty-five Cleghorn Street, has been charged with attempted murder, dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm.
