Deliveryman Robbed of Undisclosed Amount of Cash and Checks
There was an armed hold-up earlier today on the George Price Highway in Hattieville. Police say the incident happened at around eight this morning near mile sixteen and a half on the highway. Thirty-six-year-old Jaime Sanchez, a resident of Hattieville and a driver and deliveryman for Vin Fa Shopping Centre, told police that he was preparing to leave for work when two armed persons pointed guns at him and stole an undisclosed amount of money and checks, which were the proceeds from sales made on Tuesday. Police are investigating.
