Salvation Army Launches Red Kettle Appeal

Julie-Ann Ellis Bradley

Salvation Army Belize has also launched its annual red kettle appeal. Salvation Army volunteers will be stationed at various locations across the country with a bell in hand and that all too familiar red kettle next to them. Bradley says that the donations received from its annual fundraiser will go into events like the one held today in Belize City.

Julie-Ann Ellis Bradley, Chairperson, Salvation Army Belize

“Of course the kettle drive, which has become synonymous with the salvation army this year we actually have a new way of giving. At the kittles you will see a QR code so you can actually give by way of e-kyash. So that is a big help cause I know sometimes you don’t have cash on you so it helps that you are able to still give. So, we want to encourage everyone, when you see those kettles remember to give generously and of course if you want to volunteer at the kettles that are also a way to give back. We have also sent out our annual letters asking persons for sponsorship and so we ask you to respond to the call when you see those letters.”
