Has Visa Policy Changed for Haitian Nationals to Belize?

Has cabinet reversed any policy as it relates to Haitian nationals being permitted to enter Belize? While it is something that is on the radar for policymakers, today, during an interview with Minister Kareem Musa, he says that a decision has not yet been made on that issue.

“In terms of the Haitians coming into Belize, yes, I think that that is an issue that we are going to be looking at. But no decision has been made in terms of the visa requirements or anything like that. But it is definitely something that is on the radar.”
