Two Men Guilty of Killing Businessman Oscar Rosado

Brandon Hughes and Jose Gomez have been convicted of the murder of businessman Oscar Rosado Senior. The pair appeared before Justice Susan Lamb today in the Supreme Court where she handed down her very first verdict for murder. The incident happened at Rosado’s place of business in April 2023 when he was shot and killed during an armed robbery of his construction supplies company. Sentencing for the men has been deferred to December thirteenth, 2023. The trial of Hughes and Gomez began in June and ended in July 2022. The Crown was represented by Senior Crown Counsel Sheneiza Smith who called in ten witnesses to testify before closing her case.  The accused men were represented by attorney Leeroy Banner.
