B.C.C.A.R. Responds to Controversy Surrounding New Online System

The Belize Companies and Corporate Affairs Registry issued a late-evening release confirming that the regulations for free access of information have changed. The release says that with the amalgamation of the Companies Act and the I.B.C. Act into the new Companies Act 2022 the Financial Services Industry is at the cusp of rebirth and development of a world class Corporate Registry, backed by modern legislation. The release confirms that there are in fact changes to the regulations for free access of information. But, it goes on to say that there are built in mechanisms that allow limited and extended access to information via lawful channel. In its release, B.C.C.A.R. goes on to say that the assertions made in the public should be corrected based on facts within the current laws and regulations.  B.C.C.A.R. will hold its official launch ceremony for the Online Business Registry System tonight.
