Monday Morning Shooting on Black Orchid St. Belize City

Two men were shot in Belize City this morning. Reports are that Robert McDonald and Jefferson Dawson were inside a yard on Black Orchid Street in the Saint Martin’s Area when they came under attack. Information gathered from the scene is that the gunman rode up to the property on a bicycle and fired in the direction of the men. An individual with a license firearm in the neighbouring property reportedly responded to the gunshots by firing four warning shots in the air to ward of the shooter. Information suggests that McDonald and Dawson were taken to the K.H.M.H. with minor injuries. No official report has been issued, as of news time.
