Baby drowns in Seine Bight
A child has died by drowning in Seine Bight Village. According to Independence police, four year old Chester Williams and several other young children had ventured out twenty five yards away from Williams’ home Tuesday evening to play in a deep water hole. Suddenly, the boys told police, Williams went under and never resurfaced. The kids, who were not under any adult supervision, quickly ran into the victim’s home and notified his family, who then later retrieved young Williams’ body. It has since been transferred to the Dangriga Hospital morgue, to await a postmortem examination.
